Quando i Beatles stavano per pubblicare il primo, storico singolo, Love me do, avevano già una critica severa: Freda Kelly. Diciassette anni, segretaria, passava le sue pause pranzo al Cavern club, dove il gruppo di Liverpool suonava tutti i giorni. Di lì a poco il giovane manager Brian Epstein la assunse per gestire il loro fanclub ufficiale: il lavoro più ambito degli anni sessanta.
